Some FREE training available for anyone who is a parent, or that cares for a young person.
 
Child Sexual Exploitation, Online Safety Awareness & Substance Misuse Workshops – For Parents as well as Partner Agencies / organisations
 
The courses are for anyone who feels they need to know more.  They just need to book a place Free of Charge so that RBWM can get an idea of how many people will be going.
They held a very successful session last month, hence have planned them for the year. Nothing like educating the parents and putting the knowledge in their hands
 
The ‘Online Safety Session will cover:
What children are accessing online
What the online dangers are
How to reduce the risks
Sexting
Grooming
What to do if there is an incident
Where to get help
 
The Child Sexual Exploitation Session will cover:
What is CSE
Signs of CSE
Young people and Vulnerabilities
Grooming
Sexting
How to Stay Safe Online
Where to get help
 
The Substance Misuse Session will cover:
Reasons why young people may use drugs
Types of drugs that young people may use
Effects of drugs and their dangers
Street names of drugs
Rugs and the law
How to talk to your child about drugs
Links to Peer pressure and how young people can be supported

16 10 2017  Online Safety at Marlow Road Youth Centre

All the above Workshops run between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

30/4  Sunday 3 p.m. / 4 p.m.  Bowling Alley, Holmanleaze.  Fruit machine forced and cash box emptied.
31/3 – 1/5  Sunday 4 p.m. / Monday 1 p.m.  Fellstead Court, Bath Road.  Red, Ford Focus index SM ** EBG stolen from car park.  Since recovered as it had a tracker from Vicarage Road.

1/5  Monday 0.40 a.m.  Sports Centre, Bisham.  A car was captured on CCTV approaching the front gates.  The car then turns off its lights.  The car then turns its lights back on and drives around the barriers and goes to the back of the site and the grounds buildings.  They force open the door and stole items before setting off the alarm.  They immediately made off.
29/4  Saturday 3.15 p.m.  Winter Hill, Car passenger window smashed – HANDBAG STOLEN FROM UNDER THE STREET.

1/5  Monday 7 a.m.  Golf Club, Shoppenhangers Road.  Two men in hoodies seen trying to cut the locks on the gate.  No entry gained and the security re-instated
