Alert message sent 13/03/2017 13:46:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Here is the latest neighbourhood update from PCSO Zack Earl.

Criminal damage in Radley
We have had increasing reports of criminal damage on cars parked in Radley, specifically outside the train station and along St James Road. Due to this we will be doing regular patrols around Radley. If you have any information on this please call 101, or 999 if you see a crime in progress.

St Swithun’s School parking
Now for a bit of good news. There has been no reported issues from outside the school since the last update came out. Let’s keep this up!

Crime prevention advice
The Abingdon PCSOs have recently been on a three day enhanced training course around crime prevention which has enabled us to both refresh our knowledge and learn new skills on carrying out detailed home surveys on residential properties. This training will enable us to provide detailed advice to victims of crime around keeping their property safe. We are now doing crime prevention surveys on houses within the Kennington, Radley and South Hinksey area. This will entail a house visit to have a look at your current layout of your house, then we will write a report on what you could improve on to make your house a harder target. If you are interested please email me on
