Crime Update Friday 10th February 2017 - Maidenhead

Alert message sent 10/02/2017 14:14:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

This message is dated Friday 10th February 2017 for Maidenhead.

I attended a brilliantly attended meeting last night with members of the National Trust.  I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did and I am grateful to PC Phil Collins for coming along and making an input.

Several things came up – Nottingham Knockers have been back, the Windows / Microsoft / BT scam telephone calls are still coming in by the hundred and the scam letters from Hong Kong – someone died here recently with a name similar to yours and we have several million pounds in an account we will share with you, if you send us your bank details for a transfer – are back !

As always the advice is

DON’T DO IT !

8/2 – 9/2  Wednesday 5 p.m. / Thursday 7.30 a.m.  Portlock Road.  Shed break.  Hinges unscrewed and the door opened that way.  Chainsaw stolen.  If you have the hinged led by screws, these need to be replaced with round headed coach bolts.  Simply drill through the screw holes and put through coach bolts held on the inside with nuts – if you keep anything valuable in your shed – it makes sense !
9/2 – 10/2  Thursday 11 p.m. / Friday 7.30 a.m.  Woodhurst RoadCAR ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS – searched and ityems moved within the car – nothing stolen.
