Alert message sent 21/11/2016 11:27:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

At around 12.45pm on Wednesday (16/11), the victim was walking from Heelands to Bradville along a redway when he was approached by a man from behind.

The offender asked the victim for the time and the victim took out his phone and told the offender the time. The offender then walked ahead of the victim on the redway and about one metre away from him turned to face the victim and saw a knife in his hand and demanded his mobile phone.

The victim refused and was punched in the face. Two other men appeared, prevented the victim from leaving and demanded his phone again, at which point the victim handed over his black iPhone 4 with a black leather case which was broken at the top. All three offenders then ran off in the direction of Bradville.

The first offender is white, aged around 18, of average build, with facial hair on the sides of the jawline. He was wearing a plain dark blue flatcap, a plain navy blue sleeveless puffa jacket with a zip in the middle and tracksuit bottoms.

The second offender is white, aged around 18, of average build, around 6ft, with  blonde hair with a large quiff that was sticking upwards. He was wearing a hooded-top and tracksuit bottoms.

The third offender is white.

The victim sustained reddening to left side of face.

If you witnessed the robbery, or have any information as to the identity of the offenders, please call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
