Appeal for information following burglary – Conniburrow

Did you see a burglary in progress on Tuesday (8/11)?
 
At around 6.30am, the victim, aged 47, was at home in Fennel Drive when he was woken up by someone knocking on his front door.  
 
The visitor was a man who said to the victim that he was a plumber, and the victim allowed him in to the house. The man went in to the victim’s bathroom and asked him to make him a cup of tea.
 
When the victim returned with the cup of tea, the man had left the property and the victim’s small digital safe was missing. The safe contained a small quantity of cash and a bank card.
 
The offenders is white, British, spoke with an English accent, is in his late 20s approximately. He is 5ft 10ins, skinny, with fair, thin hair. He was wearing a light grey-coloured waist-length jacket of hairy material, fastened with a zip, blue denim jeans with no logos or notable marks and black lace-up shoes.
