Please consider the following crime prevention advice:
Thames Valley Police would like to remind all students to follow the security advice below.
Always lock your doors and windows, even if you are only leaving your room for a short time.

It takes less time to lock your doors and windows, than it does for someone to enter and steal.

Do not advertise your property by leaving your laptop, wallet, purse or loose change on view.

Close your curtains when you go out and keep all valuable items out of sight.

Keep a record of the serial number of your Laptop, IMEI number of your mobile, etc. Use an ultra violet marker pen to mark your property with your Student ID number and University.
