Man arrested in connection with incident of grievous bodily harm – Reading

Thames Valley Police has arrested a man in connection with an incident of grievous bodily harm in Reading.

The victim, a 41-year-old man, got into an argument with another man at the taxi rank opposite McDonalds in Friar Street at about 10.45pm on Saturday 10 September this year.

The offender then punched the victim, who sustained a fractured eye socket.  

He was treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital but has since been discharged.

On Thursday (27/10), a 25-year-old man from Hayes, Hillingdon, was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail until 8 December.
