Alert message sent 26/10/2016 15:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Local police are advising residents to double check their shed and outbuilding security after recent incidents in the Chipping Norton and Enstone areas.

Generally happening under the cover of darkness, sheds are being targeted with tools and electrical items being removed.

Neighbourhood officers want you to get in touch with any concerns or information on suspicious activity, by calling 101. If you witness a crime in action, then always dial 999. It could be your call, provides vital information to put a stop to this issue in your area.

Police Community Support Officers and Local CID officers will also be at Chipping Norton Market next Wednesday 2 November to hand out crime prevention advice and security light switches. Items available on a first come, first served basis between 8am and 1pm. Come along and meet the team on the day.

Outbuilding security and other crime prevention advice, is also available by visiting the Thames Valley Police website.
