Think Big

Alert message sent 07/11/2015 15:52:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

The Micklefield Neighbourhood Action Team are a small group of Micklefield residents who are keen to try and keep Micklefield a nice place to live. It is an area full of decent and hardworking people, many who have lived there for all or most of their lives, and crime rates are lower than many other parts of High Wycombe.

The NAG is running an event on Monday 9th November at St Peters Church, Micklefield, between 2.30 – 4.30 and then again from 6 - 8pm. The aim is to try and identify the concerns that local residents have and then devise projects that may be able to tackle these concerns.

The second aim is to involve other partner agencies who play a role within Micklefield. This is to make local people aware of some of the services that exist to support them and also an opportunity to see how these agencies can work together to resolve local issues.

Organisations that have confirmed their attendance are  : the Neighbourhood policing team, including the new PCSO, Danny; your two local councillors, Matt and Andrea; Neighbourhood Watch and the Woodland Rangers,

So please pop along to say hello and to have a cuppa. You’d be especially welcome if you have a local project in mind,, and even more welcome if you are keen to play a part in setting it up or running it. Think Big, there is a lot of support out there for community projects!

The NAG and partners hope to see you on Monday
