Newly revised MK Dog Watch website and NHW update

Alert message sent 07/10/2015 12:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

www.dogwatchmk.uk

The MK Dog Watch website has now been updated to include a section on Police Involvement and further information on lost and dangerous dogs.  The website/scheme has been recognised by the main National NHW website  www.ourwatch.org.uk as being one of two good examples of best practice for a Dog Watch scheme in the UK.  The scope of Dog Watch in Milton Keynes has grown to include lost dogs, stolen dogs, dangerous dogs and dog fouling and is continuously evolving to meet local demands.  However, all lost dog reports are referred to www.doglost.co.uk.
The Facebook page for MK Dog Watch www.facebook.com/mkdogwatch now has 1,120 likes and posts this week have reached 7,442 people.  Another Facebook page is now established in Bedfordshire   www.facebook.com/bedfordshiredogwatch with 487 likes.

Please also check out the update provided for NHW in Milton Keynes and consider setting up a scheme in your area.
