Police update on suspect person

Hello,

Following reports from vigilant residents of Sutton Courtenay on 6/7 October of a suspicious male wandering and hanging around The Hawthorns area of the village.  We can report that he was apprehended and dealt with.

We would like to assure residents that his intentions did not extend to burglaries of dwellings nor breaking into cars and that it was solely an isolated incident he was involved in.

Thank you to all residents who helped us with our enquiries through CCTV submission and speaking to our officers who were out and about.
