We are releasing an audio in connection with a suspicious person in High Wycombe. At around 5.25pm on Saturday 8 August, a man was overheard engaging in inappropriate conversation with three teenage girls, before a member of the public intervened at the Cineworld, Eden Shopping Centre. The same man is also believed to have approached other teenage girls and followed them at the High Wycombe Bus Station. A 30-year-old man from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child under 16-years-old and and intentional harassment against a person based on sex. He has been released on conditional bail. We are continuing to investigate this incident and are releasing this audio clip as part of our enquiries. We would like to appeal directly to the woman who approached the man at Cineworld, as we believe she may have witnessed the incident and could have information that would assist our investigation. We would also ask anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that may help our enquiries, to please get in touch.
