Arrest Made in Connection with Abingdon Burglaries

While conducting proactive patrols to tackle anti-social behaviour and shoplifting in Abingdon, local Neighbourhood Policing Officers identified and arrested a male suspected of being linked to a number of burglaries in the area.

This is the second individual arrested by the Abingdon Neighbourhood Team in the past three weeks as part of ongoing work to identify those responsible for recent burglary offences.

The investigation has now been taken over by the Priority Crime Team, and the male remains in police custody while enquiries continue.

By actively patrolling our communities, acting on local intelligence, and working closely with residents and businesses, we are identifying and targeting those involved in criminal activity.
