Simple Steps to Protect Your PropertyAlways lock doors and windows, even when you are at home or only going out for a short time.Keep keys out of sight and away from doors and windows.Use timer switches on lights when you are away from home to give the appearance that someone is in.Secure sheds, garages and outbuildings with good-quality locks and consider fitting alarms.Store valuable items out of sight and mark property where possible.Check CCTV, doorbell cameras and security lighting are working correctly.Look out for your neighbours and report any suspicious activity promptly.Community ReassuranceWe understand that reports of burglary can cause concern within the community. Our officers are actively working to prevent crime, gather intelligence, and identify offenders. Visible patrols continue across the area, and we encourage residents to remain vigilant while supporting one another. If you notice anyone acting suspiciously, unusual vehicles in your neighbourhood, or behaviour that does not seem right, please report it.
