Abingdon Burglary Investigation Update

Following a series of burglaries in Abingdon during August and September, a 31-year-old man has been charged with four counts of burglary.

The investigation remains ongoing, and further charges may follow as enquiries continue. The man has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

Sergeant Chris Cochrane said:

"This result reflects the excellent partnership working between our local Neighbourhood Policing Team, CCTV operators, and detectives from the Priority Crime Team. Through their coordinated efforts, we were able to identify, locate and apprehend the suspected offender promptly.

Burglaries can have a significant and lasting impact on victims, and bringing offenders to justice remains a priority for the Abingdon policing team. We are committed not only to pursuing those responsible but also to providing ongoing support and reassurance to those affected by crime in our community.."
