On 3rd August, our team stopped a vehicle on Lark Hill, Wantage after believing it was being driven by someone without the correct documentation.
When spoken to, the driver initially told officers that the vehicle wasn't his and was a company vehicle.
He then couldn't remember who he worked for.
Then he told officers he had actually bought the vehicle two days earlier.

🤔 If you're going to tell porkies to the porkies, at least get your story straight first!

Despite being given the opportunity to explain who owned the vehicle, the driver was unable to provide a credible account or any proof of ownership. Unless someone remembers who owns it and can provide the relevant evidence, this vehicle is likely to be auctioned off or turned into a tin can by next week.

✅ The driver was dealt with for driving without insurance.
Moral of the story...
🚫 No insurance.
🚫 No fibbing.
✅ Make sure your paperwork is in order before getting behind the wheel.
