||
|
We are appealing for witnesses to a knifepoint robbery in Reading. Three males threatened a man in his twenties with a knife and stole his gold chain, jacket and phone at Stories In The Park in Palmer Park on Wokingham Road at around 2.30pm on Saturday 6 June. The victim was unhurt. The first offender was described as Middle Eastern and wearing a green puffer jacket with the hood up and high neck pulled up to conceal most of his face. The second offender was described as Middle Eastern, around 5ft 10ins tall and stubble on his face, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a coat. The third offender was described as black, around 6ft 3ins tall and was wearing a white t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms with shorts underneath. We believe this to be an isolated incident and has no wider threat to the public at this time. We are appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, or saw anything suspicious, to please come forward. Anyone with information can call 101 or make an online report via our website, quoting reference number 43260291218.
