Wycombe Town centre operation results

Your Wycombe Town Centre neighbourhood team carried out an intensive operation yesterday, aimed at targeting offending in the Town Centre. They did this with the help of CCTV and blending plain clothes officers with uniformed officers. 

This resulted in: 

• 1 male seen on CCTV, stopped and dealt with for a shoplifting offence 
• 1 female arrested on suspicion of 5 offences when uniformed officers spotted her on their proactive patrols 
• An additional male who was wanted on suspicion of a serious offence was also arrested during this operation, the investigation remains ongoing

TVP have been committed to increasing police visibility in the town centre. Officers will continue their daily patrols in the area to protect the local community and ensure offending continues to be reduced 👮
