Today we’re not sharing any drug dealer stories, we’re not moaning about my legs hurting from chasing people, we’re simply here to ask you to enjoy our 3 days of summer for 2026 😎🌞

It’s going to be HOT, so get outside, enjoy the local area, and make the most of it.

But please enjoy our short summer sensibly:

🌊 Open Water Safety
•    Be careful around rivers, lakes and quarries.
•    If you’re taking a dip, be safe.
•    Don’t put your feet down in water you can’t see — you can get tangled or stuck.
•    Cold water shock is real, even in warm weather.

🔥 No Bonfires in Woodland or Open Land 
We often get reports of kids lighting fires when it gets hot. This can cause wildfires, destroy habitats, and put people at risk. So please — don’t be that person.

🍺 If You’re Off for a Pint… Drink responsibly.
If you’re one of those people who can’t enjoy the amber nectar without turning into a bit of a plonker, then drink less… or drink more water. 
You definitely won’t get a tan in our custody cells.

🧢🥚  And Finally… If you’re like me and follicly challenged, please protect that shiny dome. Sun cream or a hat — your brainbox will thank you later.

Enjoy the weather, don’t be a plonker, and don’t ruin it for others.
