Appeal for witnesses following assault - Milton Keynes

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Netherfield.

Between 1pm and 1.30pm on Sunday, a boy in his teens was kicked off his bicycle and assaulted as he was cycling along the redway between Broadlands and Farthing Grove, on the approach to the Netherfield shops.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his leg and injuries to his face and eye. He has since been discharged.

As part of our investigation into this incident we have arrested a 15-year-old boy from Northamptonshire on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody at the current time.

We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone driving through the area who has dash cam footage which may have captured something. The person involved in the incident is described as white, of average build, aged between 15 and 16, with a dark brown goatee and moustache. He was wearing all black clothing and a beanie hat.
