We have recently received several reports of dogs being loose and not kept under control or on leads along the Ridgeway.

🐑 There is livestock grazing in the area, and uncontrolled dogs can cause serious distress, injury, or even death to farm animals. This is understandably a major concern for our local farmers.

We have also received reports of dogs chasing wild animals, which can cause harm and is an offence in certain circumstances.

As a reminder, dog owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are kept under proper control at all times. If your recall is not reliable, please use a lead — particularly in areas where livestock or wildlife may be present.
