The neighbourhood team doesn’t just focus on community issues, engagement events, and mentoring schemes — sometimes we’re called to deal with the unexpected too.

Tonight, officers were up at the top of Chain Hill, Wantage, where a pothole — more like a crater — caused damage to four vehicles.

We provided cover and kept the area safe while the affected cars were recovered or repaired.

The issue has been reported to Highways for urgent attention.
