Theft from unlocked vehicles - Newbury

There has been an increase in thefts from unlocked vehicles in Newbury. The suspects have been seen walking down the street, trying car door handles. These offences have been happening overnight, mainly in the early hours of the morning. 

We are currently reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the suspects. If you see any suspicious activity and think someone may be trying your car door handle or you observe this happening to someone else, please dial 999.
