Walk for Women event at the Rye

Back in the summer, TVP held a number of Walk for Women events. The aim of these walks are to give women a safe space to exercise and enjoy the outdoors, as well as to connect with others in the community and meet with our female officers to chat about Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) in confidence. 

After receiving some great feedback they will be continuing to arrange these where possible and they are now organising a winter walk ❄️ While some may be deterred by the chilly weather, the days getting dark very soon can be a source of unease and vulnerability for women and girls which is why we believe it's important to host one this time of year also 👮‍♀️

If you're women & aged 18+, local to Wycombe or willing to travel to join us, and would like to help raise awareness of VAWG, please meet us:

📍on the grassy area in front of the Lido entrance

As it will be dark, please bring torches/headlamps and if possible any high visibility jackets or strips, the officers will certainly bring there's too. Let us know if you can make it & we look forward to seeing you there!
