🚨 Wantage and Grove NHPT — Rural Crime & Visible Policing Update 🚨

Last week, officers from Wantage and Grove NHPT joined forces with our West Berkshire colleagues for a focused rural crime operation — targeting those who exploit our countryside for criminal activity. Through joint patrols and intelligence-led enforcement, we’re protecting our communities and farmland, sending a clear message: rural areas are not a safe haven for crime.

Also last week in Steventon, our officers worked directly from the patrol car — increasing visibility in areas recently affected by anti-social behaviour. With mobile systems at hand, we caught up on admin, responded swiftly to incidents, and pulled over vehicles when needed. A huge thank you to the kind resident who brought us iced coffee — it was very much appreciated!
