||
|
Hello Resident, We are appealing for information following a report of burglary in Micheldever Way, Forest Park, Bracknell. At some time between the Tuesday 21 October and Friday 24 October offenders forced entry by smashing through rear patio doors and conducted untidy searches of several rooms, we are still working with the home owner to confirm what has been stolen.. Investigator C8402 Bojarska-Qureshi of the Priority Crime Investigation team said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seeing or hearing anything suspicious in the area during the relevant period, or may have security CCTV/ doorbell recordings or other information to report their information On Line via the Thames Valley Police website, or call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43250544341. If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.
For advice on how to keep your home safe, visit the Thames Valley Police website. www.thamesvalley.police.uk/advice/protecting-your-home-and-belongings Now that it is getting dark in early evening it is well worth utilising timer switches to turn lights on to create the impression your home is occupied even when you’re out. Neighbours looking out for each other, and been prepared to report suspicious activity also helps deter offenders and reduce crime. If you want to find out if there is already a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in your area, or you’d like to find out more, check out their site www.ourwatch.org.uk
