Slough Neighbourhood Policing Team – Weekly Community Update Areas: Chalvey, Upton & Town Centre Week Commencing: 23rd October 2025
Hi everyone!
Here’s a quick round-up of what your Slough South Neighbourhood Policing Team has been up to this week:
5 People Arrested – Our officers have arrested five people who were outstanding for various offences or under warrant. Great teamwork from the team helping to keep our streets safe
High Street Patrols – You may have spotted us out and about on foot patrols across Slough High Street, Chalvey and Upton. We’re there to tackle anti-social behaviour, offer reassurance, and make sure everyone feels safe while out and about
Stop and Search – Officers carried out several stop and searches linked to drugs and theft. These proactive checks help us prevent crime and keep harmful activity out of our neighbourhoods
Closure Order – A property linked to anti-social behaviour has been issued with a closure order this week. This helps protect local residents and restore peace to the area
Community Coffee Morning – A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Greggs! It was lovely to see so many of you, have a chat, and hear what matters most to you in your community
Have-Your-Say Events – We’ve been out at Barclays on the High Street giving cyber-crime prevention advice, and in Chalvey speaking with residents about staying safe. Thanks to everyone who stopped by – your feedback really helps shape what we do
Fireworks Seized – Officers have removed fireworks being used in anti-social behaviour incidents. Your safety is always our top priority, and we’re pleased to have prevented potential injuries or damage
A huge thank you to our brilliant community for your ongoing support. We’ve really enjoyed meeting so many of you this week and working together to make Slough an even better place to live, work and visit
