Wantage and Grove NHPT Update 🚓🌟

It’s been a busy few weeks for the team!

👮‍♀️ We supported our Neighbourhood colleagues from South Oxon at the Abingdon Fair, engaging with the community and helping ensure a safe and enjoyable event.
🔍 Our investigation into the theft from motor vehicles series continues, with proactive patrols and intelligence-led work ongoing to deter and detect offenders.
🪴 The “plant pot” series was swiftly cracked thanks to sharp teamwork—this case remains active as we follow up on leads.
🚗 Meanwhile, we’ve been out on the roads removing vehicles being driven without insurance or a valid licence, helping to keep our streets safer.

💡 Personally, I’ve learnt a lot over the past two weeks. One key takeaway: even if you think something is a minor crime, and even if it seems unlikely we’ll be able to solve it, please still report it.
Every report helps us build a clearer picture of what’s happening in the area—and what seems small could be the missing piece of a much bigger puzzle.
