As the evenings grow darker earlier, it’s important we all take extra steps to protect our homes and look out for one another. 

Your local policing team is actively investigating the incident and increasing patrols in the area. In the meantime, here are some crime prevention tips to help keep your property safe:

Use deadbolts and security chains where possible.

2. Light It Up

Use timer switches on indoor lights to give the impression someone is home.

Install motion-sensor lights outside to deter intruders.

Avoid leaving keys near doors or windows.

4. Check Your Alarms

Ensure your burglar alarm is working and activated.
