Increase in Theft From Motor Vehicles

Hello residents,

The Didcot & Wallingford Neighbourhood Team would like to make you aware of a recent rise in incidents of theft from motor vehicles across the county, whereby windows are being smashed and items openly on display are being stolen. 

As the evenings begin to get darker, it increases the vulnerability to vehicles being broken into and items being stolen. We would like to encourage all of you to ensure you are hiding or removing all of your valuable items from your vehicle when it is being left unattended, to reduce the risk of damage and loss to your property.

We will continue patrolling locations across the area to help prevent further incidents from occurring.
