Appeal for witnesses to fatal road traffic collision – Wantage

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Wantage today.

A Kawasaki motorcycle and a pedestrian were involved in the collision on the A417 Mably Way between Denchworth Road and Grove Road at around 8.50am.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman from Wantage, has sadly died at the scene. The motorcyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

No arrests have been made at this time.

First and foremost, my thoughts are with the loved ones of the woman who tragically lost her life in this incident.
