Slough Neighbourhood Policing Team – Weekly Community Update👮♂️ 📍 Chalvey, Upton and Town Centre Hello everyone, Here’s a quick round-up of your local policing team's latest activity across Chalvey, Upton and Town Centre. We’ve been working closely with partners and the community to tackle crime, promote safety, and engage with residents. 🔹 1x Arrest – Fail to Appear A male wanted for failing to appear at court was successfully located by PCSOs and arrested by Response officers this week. 🚨 Warrant Execution – Joint Action Working alongside our colleagues in the West Neighbourhood Team, officers carried out a warrant which resulted in 2 arrests. Excellent teamwork across the area to tackle criminality. 🔹 1x Arrest – Other Offences Another individual was arrested this week for separate offences and is now being dealt with accordingly. 🏪 Chalvey Action Day Officers were out along Chalvey Road West and East, supporting a joint action day with Slough Borough Council. The focus was on educating businesses and the public about the rules around Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs)—particularly around street drinking and anti-social behaviour. ☕ Community Coffee Morning – Antonio’s Café We were pleased to welcome residents to our coffee morning at Antonio’s, where we discussed local concerns, policing priorities, and how we can work together to improve community safety. 🏠 SHOC Engagement We also spent time engaging with Slough Homeless Our Concern (SHOC) to offer support, advice and ensure individuals have access to the help they need. ⛸️ Have Your Say – Ice Rink We held a Have Your Say event at the Slough Ice Arena, giving residents the opportunity to speak with officers, raise any concerns and learn more about local policing efforts. 🍻 Street Drinking Operation – PSPO Enforcement As part of our ongoing efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour and enforce the PSPO in Chalvey, we carried out a targeted operation with the following results: 📃5x Community Protection Warnings (CPWs)💷2x Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs)🌿1x Positive Stop & Search for Cannabis, resulting in a Community Resolution (Out-of-Court Disposal)🍺20x Cans of Alcohol Seized🔗1x Arrest for Immigration OffencesWe’d like to thank the community for your ongoing support and cooperation.
