Theft from Motor Vehicle Series on Kingsgrove Estate & Milton

🚨 Wantage & Grove Neighbourhood Team Update 🚨

Between May and July 2025, our communities of Kingsgrove Estate and Milton were affected by a series of thefts from motor vehicles.
These incidents caused concern across the area, and we’ve been working relentlessly to identify and pursue those responsible.

On 21st August, our Neighbourhood Policing Team (NHPT) tracked down a key suspect in Bristol, a 27 year old male.

Once arrested, our team travelled to interview him personally, and he has now been bailed for 10 thefts and 7 fraud offences linked to this series.

Let this serve as a message:
If you commit crime in our area, we will track you down—no matter where you are.

🛡️ Crime Prevention Tips – Protect Your Vehicle:
•     Lock your car every time you leave it, even for a short moment.
•     Remove all valuables from sight—bags, laptops, and even loose change can tempt thieves.
•     Park in well-lit, secure areas whenever possible.
•     Install dash cams or alarms for added deterrence.
•     Report suspicious behaviour to police via 101 or online. Always call 999 in an emergency.

We’re committed to keeping Wantage and Grove safe—and we won’t stop until offenders are held accountable.
