Tomorrow, your Oxford South East Neighbourhood Police Team will be conducting an e-scooter operation in the local area.

📍 This operation aims to ensure riders are using e-scooters safely and legally, and to engage with the community around growing concerns.

🔍 We’ll be focusing on both enforcement and education – speaking with riders and checking that scooters are being used in accordance with UK law.

📌 REMEMBER: The rules on e-scooters in the UK are clear:

🚫 Privately owned e-scooters are currently illegal to use on public roads, pavements, cycle lanes, and other public spaces. They may only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission.
