Appeal for witnesses to firearms incident – Gerrards Cross

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to a firearms incident in Gerrards Cross.

Just before midnight on 31 July, a medium-sized hatchback car drove was driven into Dukes Wood Drive.aA person got out and fired a handgun three times into an empty vehicle parked on the driveway of a residential property. The offender, described as a white man wearing dark clothing, including shorts, then got back in the car and it drove off.drove away.

We understand this firearms incident may be concerning but we believe it was targeted with no wider threat to the public. Fortunately, no one was in the car or directly threatened, but we are investigating this as a top priority.

We have also increased police patrols in the area as a result, so please speak to a uniformed officers, or get in touch, if you have any concerns.
