πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ Pedal Power Patrol – Wantage and Grove NHPT πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ

This week, the Wantage and Grove Neighbourhood Policing Team swapped four wheels for two and hit the streets on our β€œnew” bikes β€” new to us, but well-loved and ready for action!

We set out with one simple rule: avoid the main roads and stick to the quieter streets, footpaths, alleyways, and cut-throughs where we don’t always get to patrol by car.
It gave us a fresh perspective and let us reach parts of the community we don’t normally see during regular shifts.

🚲 The patrols covered a wide area β€” and believe it or not, the map below doesn’t even show the full routes we took around Grove!

Along the way, we:

βœ… Spoke with lots of local residents
βœ… Gathered valuable intelligence
βœ… Made ourselves visible and available for community concerns

It’s all part of our commitment to proactive, approachable, and community-led policing.

Thanks to everyone who stopped for a chat β€” your time and input really do make a difference.

For those further afield, don't fear, we now have bike racks for our vehicles, so we will be seeing you soon with our β€œnew” bikes!
