Reading Community Safety Partnership - Public Space Protection Order Survey - (PSPO)

Reading’s Community Safety Partnership is asking for views on a new Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which would give the Police and Council more powers to deal with anti-social behaviour across the borough, including:

  • On-street begging.
  • Nuisance street drinking.
  • Dog fouling and dog control.
  • Anti-social use of e-bikes and e-scooters, which causes anxiety, distress or nuisance in public settings. Please note responsible and legal use of e-bikes is supported by the Council - this PSPO is aimed at people who use these vehicles irresponsibly.
  •

    Complete the survey now: www.reading.gov.uk/PSPOsurvey.

The consultation closes on 7 September.
