Neighbourhood Policing provides a localised approach to policing and allows officers to be accessible and responsive to the needs of the community by addressing demands and concerns across Berkshire West Local Command Unit (LCU).

West Berkshire is policed by four geographical neighbourhood policing teams, Newbury, Thatcham, Hungerford & Downlands and Pangbourne.

Also including Tracie Stone the Administration & Neighbourhood Support Assistant who supports Newbury Police Station and the Neighbourhood Teams as well as dealing with Neighbourhood Watch, Crime Prevention, TV Alerts, Cadets and Specials.
