Factory-fitted immobilisers are standard on many newer vehicles and are a proven deterrent to thieves.Fit a tracking device – vehicle trackers can dramatically improve the chances of recovery if your vehicle is stolen. Some advanced GPS trackers can alert you to unauthorised movement in real time.Use visible deterrents such as a steering wheel lock, wheel clamps, or post barriers if parking on a drive.Install motion-activated lights and CCTV to deter offenders and aid investigations.Every piece of information counts – even something that seems minor could be crucial.
