We can confirm the scene of the tragic Bicester Motion fire was handed back to the business park today.

Following a thorough investigation, led by our Major Crime Unit, alongside @hsegovuk, assisted by fire investigators, the scene watch was lifted at 1pm, although a cordon remains in place around the area to prohibit public access.

One of the two injured firefighters from the incident on Buckingham Road, Bicester, on 15 May has now been discharged from hospital. The other remains in hospital in a stable condition.

This remains an unexplained death investigation and we will continue to work with fire investigators and the Health and Safety Executive to ascertain the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the sad deaths of Jennie, Martyn and Dave.

Our thoughts will always be with their loved ones, as well as the injured firefighters, following this tragic incident.
