Swanbourne Burglary

Dear Residents,

Thames Valley Police would like to make you aware of a recent incident in Swanbourne Village.

Between the evening of 8th June and the morning of 9th June, an unknown person(s) entered a garage at a property on Mursley Road, Swanbourne and stole tools. We urge all residents to remain vigilant and take precautions to protect their property.

Crime Prevention Advice:

Secure your garage and outbuildings - ensure doors and windows are locked with sturdy locks. Consider installing a padlock or deadbolt for extra security.

Install motion-sensor lighting - well lit areas can deter criminals from attempting to enter your property.

Keep valuables out of sight - avoid leaving tools or equipment visible from outside.

Consider CCTV or alarms - security cameras and alarms can act as a deterrent and provide evidence if needed.

Report suspicious activity - if you see anything unusual, report it to the police via 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.

Please share this message with your neighbours.

Many thanks,

Sergeant David Kuttner
