We are urging residents to stay vigilant following recent reports of doorstep crimes in the area. Criminals may pose as tradespeople, utility workers, charity collectors, or even police officers to gain access to your home or exploit your trust.

Protect Yourself:

  • Always check ID – genuine callers will not mind waiting while you verify their identity.
  • Don’t open the door to strangers – use a spy hole or door chain if you have one.
  • Never agree to work or services on the spot – take time to check credentials and get quotes.
  • Report suspicious behaviour – if in doubt, keep them out and call us.

    • 📞 If you feel unsafe or threatened, dial 999 immediately.
    📞 For non-emergency concerns or to report a suspicious visitor, call 101.
