Hello,

Thames Valley Police were informed of an unauthorised encampment off London Road in Buckingham after receiving a report of caravans entering a field south of Buckingham University's Verney Park Campus around 4pm on May 28th.

Officers promptly attended the scene, engaged with the occupants, issued codes of conduct, and sought to understand their intentions.

We have been in discussions with our partners this morning and will continue to monitor the situation to determine if any policing powers will utilised.
