Hello Resident,

We have received a report of Anti-Social use of vehicles in Wey Road, Berinsfield. The vehicles are congregating at the garage area closest to the entrance. 

The incident has been reported this week (12/05/25), report suggesting this has been ongoing for a few weeks.  

Police will be patrolling the area and take necessary action if required. 

Action : Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 allows police officers to seize vehicles used in a manner that causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. This can include careless or inconsiderate driving, or driving on areas not intended for vehicle use. The powers under section 59 are extensive, allowing officers to stop vehicles and seize them. 

Investigating officer, PCSO Jones, based at Didcot, said; “We would like to speak to anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage within the area at this time to please come forward.
