Dear Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following an incident of harassment in Slough.

At around 8am on Tuesday (6/5) a woman was walking along Mill Lane, Slough, when a blue Vauxhall Zafira pulled up alongside her.

The driver of the car started talking to her and telling her to get into his car, he has continued to drive alongside her, telling her to get in, and holding up the traffic.

The driver then drove off up to the Golden Cross roundabout and then stopped again asking her to get into his car.

At this point, a lorry driver who was stuck behind the car, asked the victim if she was okay, when she said no, the man in the car drove off.

The offender is described as an Asian man in his forties, with a black hair and beard.

We are appealing to anyone who was driving on Mill Lane on Tuesday morning at around 8am to come forward, particularly if they have dash-cam footage of the incident.

Additionally we would ask the lorry driver who stopped to check on the victim to also come forward.
