Hi,

We would like to make residents aware of recent break-ins to garages on the West Bletchley area.

The incidents have happened overnight with entry being gained by cutting out the lock causing considerable damage. Items stolen have included power tools and chargers.

We are carrying out target patrols in the area, and are asking residebts to be vigilant, and to report any suspicious activity to us.

Our advice would be to:

To never leave garage or shed doors unlocked, especially if it is connected to your home. 

Fit strong padlocks to shed and garage doors, and make sure that the doors are solid enough not o be kicked in. 

Store tools in lockable steel boxes fitted to the floor and use anchor posts fixed to the floor to secure larger tools and equipment.
