๐จ Here is the latest update from your Wokingham North Neighbourhood Team, based out of Loddon Valley ๐จ :
๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ป PCSO Elson and PCSO Emmett attended a call for a potential door-knock scammer in Lower Earley. When questioned, the gentleman did not have the correct license to trade in this manner, despite his good intentions. He was guided as to how to obtain the correct documentation and sent on his way until this comes through.
๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ป PCSO Elson and PCSO Emmett conducted high visibility foot patrols around different areas of Twyford and Hurst following your reports of ASB occurring in these areas. The aim is to engage, and deter if needed.
๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ป PCSO Elson and PCSO Emmett attended a call for a welfare check in Lower Earley where a young adult had ingested an unknown substance, resulting in them feeling unwell and requiring an overnight hospital stay. This happened because they were all too trusting, and took something from a stranger. Thankfully, after a good rest they are fully recovered and back on form.
๐ PC Scullin, PC DโAmaro, PCSO Ispas and PCSO Hobart attended Windsor Guard Change.
๐ PCSO Leightley and PCSO Ispas attended an address to check on an elderly lady after she had been experiencing issues around her address and is now recovering from surgery.
๐ All neighbourhood officers resumed their school patrols in line with Back to School week. โ we hope you have all enjoyed your first week back (and a bit of respite for the parents)
๐ PC Scullin organised the Neighbourhood Team in an operation designed to tackle theft from motor vehicle crimes in and around the Winnersh area. This resulted in numerous stop searches, and a driver being pulled for having no insurance and driving not in accordance of their license. PCSO Elson and PCSO Emmett also hosted a tool marking session in Wickes, Winnersh as part of this campaign of keeping your vehicles (and tools) safe!
๐ฐ PC Bogdanova and the Woodley Team have been preparing for a Fraud presentation later in the month โ look out for posters on the local notice boards and socials soon!
As ever, here are our links to our Neighbourhood Surveys, we will be updating everyoneโs queries throughout the following weeks, which will give you updates on what we have been doing but also how you can contact other agencies when it isnโt a police matter or just giving general advice;
