Hello Resident,

Following our investigation, a woman has been charged in connection with an assault in Reading.

The charges relate to an assault on a woman in her forties in Oxford Road at around 4.10pm on Sunday. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged. 

A police detention officer was also racially abused and a search room was intentionally damaged.
