Stolen Vehicles

Dear Resident,

Thanks to reports from eagle eyed residents, Wokingham Neighbourhood Police Team were able to recover two stolen motorbikes from different locations around Wokingham today (11/05/2024). One male has also been arrested in relation to the theft of one of the vehicles.

Often vehicles are left in residential locations for a period of time after they are stolen.  Please continue to report any abandoned vehicles or suspicious activity by calling 101 or report online.  If you do not want to talk to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

When reporting suspicious activity, provide as much information as possible:

  • Location: Where did you see the activity?

  • Description: Describe the individuals involved, their appearance, clothing, and any distinguishing features.

  • Behavior: Explain what you observed and why it seemed suspicious.

  • Time: Note the date and time of the incident.

  • CCTV: Retain any footage you may have of the incident.

  • By providing detailed information, residents can help us to take swift action and maintain safety in the area. Remember, it’s better to report something that turns out to be harmless than to ignore potential criminality - Trust your instincts!
