We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Reading.

At around 8am on Tuesday (2/4), on Oxford Road, near to Lorne Street, a man has been assaulted and had his foot run over by the suspect. The man had his phone and an amount of cash stolen in the incident.

A 37 year old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody.
